Project Details
The Atlin Recreational Centre wanted to provide their customers with the possibility of watching curling games from the bar located below the curling rink. The project also included the addition of 2 displays in the stand area.
AtlinTech provided the complete IP camera network design, installation and configuration. Each target is now equipped with a dome camera and each sheet has a additional bullet camera in the centre for a total of 6 IP cameras. We chose BlueIris, a professional and flexible NVR solution. Two displays were installed in the stands and we used the current display in the bar. We equiped each monitor with a RaspBerry Pi. The RaspBerry Pi 3 B+ was chosen for its processing power and compatibility with PoE HAT, in order to reduce the wiring.
The result is an elegant and flexible solution that allows anyone to comfortably watch the curling games.
